Would give six stars if I could. One of the better meals we've ever had. The atmosphere is a cozy eclectic farm to table - we felt right at home siting at the bar. Our favorite dish was the ceviche, but everything we ordered (fried broccoli, cornbread, wagyu burger) was excellent. Our server, Matt, made great recommendations and his drinks were top notch. We would definitely come here again next time we visit Austin.

Found this spot via the Michelin Guide and went by myself and sat at the bar (did make rsvp). Was helped by Terrance who helped narrow down my choices and that man did not steer me wrong. The Antelope Tataki will live in my head rent free. The Fried Quail was pleasantly spicy which was rather surprising but exceptional. For dessert I had the oatmeal something (don’t remember) and their scoop of the day; if you’ve ever had an It’s It, the combo tasted like a luxury It’s it. Would HIGHLY recommend this spot.

Cocktails were perfect. Food was FANTASTIC. The chef balanced all the flavors perfectly and the sauces were all perfect. No other phrase except it works and everything was delicious! All the wait staff smiled and joked and shared the knowledge expertly. Excellent experience overall.

this was the first restaurant in austin that we’ve been to since moving here, and honestly i don’t know if there will be another restaurant that will top this place. we decided to come here for dinner to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday, and we had an amazing time. not only was the food extremely delicious, but the service was exceptional. our waitress was really kind and friendly, which provided a very welcoming atmosphere. we ended up booking a reservation for 4:45pm, but walk-ins are available. valet parking is complimentary but there is not much space for parking, which is probably why they recommend reservations. 10/10 place and will definitely be coming back here again!!

Odd Duck in Austin absolutely lives up to the hype. From the second you walk in, the place has that perfect Austin energy. It feels upscale without being stiff, creative without trying too hard, and lively without being overwhelming. The atmosphere is warm, fun, and just cool enough to make you feel like you picked the right spot before the food even hits the table. The staff was amazing from start to finish. Everyone we interacted with was kind, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. Not the fake polite kind of service either. The real kind. The kind where people seem like they actually enjoy being there and want you to enjoy being there too. That makes a huge difference, especially at a restaurant with food this good. Now the food. Top tier is the only way to put it. I had the wagyu burger, and I am not exaggerating when I say it was life changing. Perfectly cooked, rich, juicy, layered with flavor, and somehow both elevated and comforting at the same time. Every bite tasted intentional. The bun, the patty, the crunch, the greens, the sauce, everything worked together like it had been engineered by someone who takes burgers way more seriously than most people take their careers. It was one of those meals where you take the first bite and immediately stop talking for a second because your brain needs to catch up. Odd Duck is the kind of restaurant that makes dinner feel like an experience instead of just a meal. Great atmosphere, incredible service, and food that absolutely earns the reputation. Whether you’re visiting Austin or you live here and somehow haven’t gone yet, Odd Duck needs to be on your list. I’ll definitely be back. And yes, I’ll probably be thinking about that wagyu burger until then. As well as how awesome Jason was and singing Little Mermaid at the bar with him!

Food is really good. Main portions are a little small, but the food is meant to share so 4-6 dishes for two people is optimal. We loved the dishes we ordered. Our server was wonderful and very knowledgeable and attentive. He checked in on us often and gave very good food recommendations. The whole experience was pretty great and we can’t wait to go back!

Our dinner last night was a flawless progression of bold flavors and local ingredients, all tied together by top-tier service. To Start, we kicked off with a perfectly balanced Old Fashioned...not too sweet, perfect. Then, an adventurous spread of appetizers: Chicken Hearts: Tender, smoky, and expertly seasoned. Ceviche: Bright, acidic, and incredibly fresh, acting as the perfect palate cleanser. Antelope: A standout dish that showcased the kitchen’s skill with wilder, leaner proteins. The Main Event For the entrees, we went with two heavy hitters: Wagyu Burger: Rich, juicy, and elevated by a bun that holds up to the decadence of the meat. Redfish: Flaky and perfectly prepared. Vibe & Service The atmosphere was exactly what you want from a South Lamar staple: Energetic, unpretentious, and "good shit" all around. A shoutout to our server, Emma. She was fantastic—knowledgeable, attentive, and made the EXPERIENCE seamless. If a local or just passing through, Odd Duck is a must-visit. We’ll be back. Don't skip the skillet cornbread... legendary!

Odd Duck had been on my list for a while since I’d gotten great feedback from friends that it was one of the best restaurants in Austin. Finally got to try it this weekend and it did not disappoint! Everything we ordered was delicious. Love that the menu changes every month based on what’s available locally. Portion size and prices were very fair and the service was great! Reservations are required. I will definitely be back!

I loved this place! We came here to celebrate a friend’s birthday with the tasting menu, and it was such a great experience. The service was amazing, the food was superb, and we genuinely had a wonderful time. The patio was beautiful and had such a relaxed atmosphere—it was easy to have conversations and really enjoy the evening. Everything felt fresh and thoughtfully prepared. You can tell they truly care about the quality of their ingredients and the intention behind each dish. One of my fav Austin restaurants so far.

The couple next to us was cleaning every plate!!! That’s when we knew we were about to be wowed! We ordered the cheddar cornbread and the onion butter had us wanting to eat every crumb. Next we had the summer salad and the antelope tataki. Both were equally unique and mouthwatering! We finished with the braised goat pizza and this is cooked in a wood fire oven and is absolutely amazing! My advice order everything!
